PM Modi Initiates 'Sudarshan Setu', India's 1 Longest Link Remained Scaffold
The 'Sudarshan Setu', associating Okha and Beyt Dwarka island, has been developed at the expense of Rs 979 crore.
New Delhi: Top state leader PM Narendra Modi today initiated India's longest link remained span in Gujarat's Dwarka.

PM Narendra Modi on Sunday initiated 'Sudarshan Setu', the nation's longest link remained extension of 2.32 km, on the Bedouin ocean associating Beyt Dwarka island to central area Okha in Gujarat's Devbhumi Dwarka region.
PM Modi started his day by offering supplications at Master Sri Krishna sanctuary at Beyt Dwarka.
He later initiated the four-path link remained span called the 'Sudarshan Setu', which flaunts an extraordinary plan, highlighting a trail decorated with stanzas from Srimad Bhagavad Gita and pictures of Master Krishna on the two sides.
India's 1 Longest Link
The 2.32 km span, including 900 meters of focal twofold range link remained segment and a 2.45 km long methodology street, has been developed at an expense of ₹979 crore, according to an authority discharge.
The four-path 27.20 meter wide scaffold has 2.50 meter wide trails on each side, it said. The scaffold, which was known as 'Mark Extension', has been renamed as 'Sudarshan Setu' or Sudarshan Scaffold.
Beyt Dwarka is an island close to Okha port, which is almost 30 km from Dwarka town, where the well known Dwarkadhish sanctuary of Master Krishna is arranged.

As of now, lovers visiting the sanctuary at Beyt Dwarka can travel just during the day by boat, while the development of the extension will permit them to go consistently, authorities said
The development of the extension was given by Transport minister Nitin Gadkari in 2016 Head of the state Narendra Modi established the groundwork stone of the scaffold among Okha and Beyt Dwarka on 7 October 2017 .It was built at the expense of ₹979 crore.
